Does Drinking Lots Of Water Help You To Lose Weight?

The most significant element to lose body fat is all around you. It is spread over two third part of the planet. If your diet and exercise routine is well balanced, but still you are overweight, you are probably just not drinking enough water. Drinking lots of water does help you lose weight and it also helps you lose it faster.

Most of the people do not drink enough water, as a result they have been in a permanent state of dehydration.I was also heavier by a few more pounds than was healthy for me.  So, to get the weight off, or at least make a good start, I started drinking more water. It provided me with adequate energy as my metabolism started working differently.I did a fair amount of research in last few days and this is what I discovered about metabolism.

There are many types of metabolism going on in a person’s body at all times, but to lose weight your metabolism needs to  convert fat to energy which is what the liver does. But the liver also has some other works to do – one of which is to do the work of kidneys when they do not work well.If you are dehydrated, your kidneys do not get enough water to work and in this situation, your liver has to do their work while doing its own work. When the liver helps the kidneys, it can’t process fat to produce energy as quickly as it can when the kidneys are doing their job.Accordingly the fat stores up.It is a situation like your colleague is absent and you will have to do his work with doing your own work. And work piles up.

One more problem is, often we decide to increase our daily consumption of water intake, but we don’t follow it religiously. In the beginning of drinking more water than our bodies are used to, we were running to the bathroom frequently. This can be really discouraging, and can interfere with a normal day.  It seems that the water is coming out just as fast as it’s going in, and so most of us decide that this new drinking habit is useless and we give up.

What is happening is that our bodies are flushing out the water that has been stored thru years of what is called “survival mode”.When we drink lots of water, our body get rid of what it doesn’t need – which is the water that has been stored in our thighs, ankles and hips.We are getting rid of water that our body doesn’t need anymore. We usually reach what is called a “break though” point, at this point our bodies will let us return to normal and we are not going to the restroom as much.

If you don’t like the taste of water, try drinking sparkling water.  You can find a large assortment of calorie free flavors to flavor sparkling water to great taste at http://allfreightfree.com

So, yes, drinking water does help with losing weight and needs to be part of any diet loss plan for that plan to work more effectively.
