Infertility Statistics

Many want kids, but not necessarily their own. That is understandable when the number of single parents and teen-age parents are growing in number, whether you belong to a rich or an underdeveloped country. While a large part of the world is having overpopulation concerns, still a growing number of people are praying fervently for having their own children.
Wanted: Babies of my own. If only it is that easy as having a stork deliver your own baby when the morning comes. It is now safe to say that the people are worrying about this are rather the older group age, especially those who are the late 20′s, early 30′s and beyond. Well, society can be that harsh. When you are younger and already having a baby, it is frowned upon. In the same way, those who have children in their adolescent years also experience the same ridicule.
What is it about infertility statistics? What is this fecundity impairment? It has been said that about 1 in every 6 couples are suffering from it. That is quite a scare for most couples.
Infertility statistics is defined as the population of people having problems or inability to have children in a considerable period of time such as a year of unprotected sex.
So what is it about numbers? Are they really noteworthy? What does it tell you if you belong to a country that is among the top in the infertility rank? Making it more personal, what are the chances that you are, or you will be in this count?
Infertility statistics has been able to give you significant information on the causes of fecundity impairment. About 6% of 15-50 year old males have fought infertility while 7.4% of women who are 15-44 years old and who are married have this infertility concern.
What could be the causes of infertility? There are about a number of them for several starters. What it takes for an ovum to form is the union of a healthy sperm and egg in a healthy environment. It’s the same way as plants grow in a nurturing environment with good soil and enough sunlight.
What can be easy to say is hard to do. Since in the modern world, you have to face certain issues on age, hormonal imbalance, intoxication to toxic chemicals which can have adverse effects such as impairments and deficiencies in fertility.
Many want babies, but not necessarily their own. But as legacy is legacy, most would still want their own blood continue on their race, and their name.
What does it mean by knowing the trend? It is a great way to avoid being a part of the statistics. And if you already are, then possible remedies are to be sought – if that dramatic a number, most definitely by the respective country’s government.
