You will need to educate yourself to find out more about the pain you suffer in your lower back and leg and what may be causing the problem. Leg pain is a common complaint and symptom. There are numerous reasons that can cause leg pain, such as muscle fatigue or strain from overuse, certain types of medication such as diuretics and statins as well as dehydration or low amounts of potassium. You should know before you begin, that it may be easy to determine the cause for your leg pain. On the other hand it can also be difficult to make the determination of the cause. For example, running a marathon and then experiencing cramps or pain in your leg, in most cases, running the marathon is the reason for the pain you suffer.
On the other hand, if you have just been living life normally, and nothing new is happening and you begin to feel leg pain, it may be more difficult for you and your Physician to determine the cause of your pain. Quite a few other reasons may influence your leg pain, such as varicose veins, inflammation of the leg joints, arthritis, blood clots caused by long term bed rest, infection of the soft tissue, skin or bones as well as atherosclerosis that blocks blood flow in the arteries.
Visit Your Medical Practitioner
