Phuket International Academy (PIA) Blueprint for Human Development
A new international sports, education and wellness centre has been established in Thailand that provides unmatched facilities and programmes. PIA is comprised of three synergistic centres: the PIA Day School, the PIA Sports, Arts and Wellness Centre and the PIA Mind Centre. They offer students, parents and those from the wider Phuket, as well as international communities, a modern, sustainable facility which focuses on education, sports, arts and wellness. Located on the resort island of Phuket, Thailand, PIA is sited in surroundings of natural beauty next to a national park. The standards of PIA is to fulfill the intellectual, physical, creative and spiritual potential of all students, members and participants of the three centres.
The Phuket International Academy Day School (PIADS) is aspiring to develop into a three programme International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. As a leading international school in Phuket, it will draw upon distinctive Asian culture and the best from Western educational methods, to cultivate inquisitive, knowledgeable, and empathetic young people who know how to conduct their lives with integrity, cultivate genuine happiness, and who work toward a more peaceful and sustainable earth. Phuket International Academy Sports and Leisure Club (PIASLC) is partially completed, and will before long begin to offer a diverse of world-class sports, arts, wellness and recreational facilities and programmes for the enjoyment of students, their families, the local Phuket community and for visiting professional and amateur individual athletes and teams from around the glove. April 10th marks the launch of the PIA Mind Centre (PIAMC) with a two-day “Genuine Happiness Retreat” led by Dr. B Alan Wallace. The retreat focuses on two methods for cultivating meditative quiescence called shamatha. It teaches the practice of “mindfulness of breathing”, which is a successful method for soothing the body and calming the mind. A second method taught is both a shamatha practice and vipashyana, “insight meditation” or “settling the mind in its natural state”.

Coping With Infertility

Infertility can bring on so much distress to an individual or to a couple as well. This issue has caused so much trouble to couples especially those who want to have their own families.But by getting the support you need and finding ways to cope might be able to help you and your spouse to go through the challenge as a strong couple. The following are some ways for coping with infertility:.
The first step you should take is to find out more about infertility. Learn more about the association between stress and infertility. Learn about the condition you are in and find out for more options to heal it.You must be able to find coping strategies and work to improve your relationship with your partner as you go through infertility as a couple.
Second would be to share your emotions to your spouse.Although people think it’s usual, it may not be easy to tell your spouse about your grief.Holding back everything would only mean more stress and anxiety.Plus this might put a strain in your self-worth and your relationship with your spouse.To be in open communication with your spouse about the problem would make you feel less alone to fight the battle.
Third would be to open up to other people.Share the burden and don’t hang on to it.It’s more like the last thing you want to do is tell people about your problem.But this would be a great help in coping with infertility.It helps a lot to be able to communicate with other couples who suffer from the same problem you have.
